The Unexpected Gardens

This tour takes you to visit two wonderful gardens and its monuments, besides a lovely hike inside the Sintra forest connecting both monuments. The first is “Capuchos Convent”, probably the most important testimony of the Sintra primeval forest, preserved by the brotherhood of Franciscan friars and their austere monument carved in stone. The second is “Montserrat Gardens and Palace”, which is one of the most beautiful creations of the Romanticism landscape, immortalized by Lord Byron, “Monserrate” is one of the most famous and exotic European Victorian gardens.
